One of Canada's top Adobe and Apple certified training companies is returning to Design City. Eliquo was established in 2002 as a software training centre 100% focused on training for graphic design, web, video, PDF forms, and interactive design. The company also specializes in the burgeoning field of universal or accessible design, now mandated by some jurisdictions including Ontario.

One of the most storied brands in print publishing is heading to Design City for the first time. The National Geographic Image Collection owns one of the most comprehensive and unique collections of photographs, video and original artwork in the world, and representatives will be at Design City to help photo buyers find the perfect image for their projects.

Direct-mail designers will have more flexibility for direct-mail packages, thanks to new guidelines coming in 2013 as part of Canada Post's sweeping Postal Transformation program.

Cascades Fine Paper, a leader in sustainable paper production, is returning to Design City with its latest samples and solutions for designers and their clients.
Cascades fine papers are developed to continuously reduce environmental footprints, and contain a maximum quantity of post-consumer fiber. The company uses 50% and 100% post-consumer fiber to manufacture its commercial papers and uses renewable and local biogas energy produced from the decomposition of waste buried in landfills.
